Okay, so, today I messed around with this thing called “Clobber Crossword”. Sounds fancy, right? Not really. It’s like this puzzle game thingy. I got into it ’cause, why not? I like trying out new stuff.
First off, I had to figure out what this “Clobber” even was. Turns out, some smart folks, Michael H. Albert and J.P. Grossman, cooked it up back in 2001. Smart guys, gotta give ’em that. They call it an “abstract strategy game.” I just call it a brain teaser.
So, I started digging around, trying to solve this crossword. I searched for hints, stumbled upon some websites, and man, there were tons of answers. Like, a whole lot. One clue had an answer that was 13 letters long, “BEAT ALL HOLLOW.” I mean, who comes up with these? There was also a short one, just 3 letters, “BAT.” My brain was all over the place.
I spent a good chunk of my day looking up clues and answers. There were loads of them. “DECK,” “BOP,” “DRUB” – you name it. I felt like a detective, except a really confused one. I saw that people have been looking up this “Clobber” thing for a while now. Like, over 20 times! That’s a lot of head-scratching.
My Little Adventure
- Started with no clue what “Clobber” meant.
- Found out it was some game from 2001.
- Searched for hints online.
- Got totally lost in all the answers.
- Realized I wasn’t the only one scratching my head over this.
By the end of it, I was just staring at a screen full of words. Did I solve it? Parts of it, yeah. Did I get a headache? Maybe a little. But hey, it was kinda fun. Like a weird, wordy adventure. I guess that’s what you get with these “abstract strategy games.” They sure know how to mess with your head!
So, that’s my story with the “Clobber Crossword.” It’s out there if you’re into puzzles and stuff. Me? I might give it another go. Or I might just watch some cat videos. Who knows. Anyway, that was my day. Pretty random, but hey, that’s life, right?
