That Brooks Koepka, he sure is somethin’ with his golf clubs, ain’t he? Folks call it WITB, stands for “what’s in the bag,” I reckon. He’s got a whole mess of ’em, all shiny and fancy.
Now, I don’t know much ’bout these fancy golf clubs, but I hear tell that Brooks, he used to use some called Mizuno. Yep, Mizuno irons. He won some big ol’ tournaments with ’em, four of ’em, they say! Big deals, those tournaments. But then, back in ’21, he switched ’em out. Got himself some new ones called Srixon ZX7 irons.
Heard he played with those Srixon ZX7 irons for a spell, then went and got some more in late 2022. These ones are called Srixon ZX7 MKII irons. Sounds like somethin’ out of one of them space movies, don’t it?
Why all the changin’, you ask? Well, seems this Brooks fella, he’s got a deal with Nike. You know, that big shoe company? He wears their clothes when he’s out there playin’. Got a deal with ’em since way back in 2016, I reckon. Heard he’s wearin’ that swoosh thing.

And he’s got another deal with this Srixon company for his golf bag. So his bag, it says Srixon. He’s gotta use their stuff, I guess. Makes sense, they’re payin’ him good money, I’d wager. I don’t know exactly how much money they give him.
Some folks, they talk about a hundred million dollars! Can you imagine? For playin’ a game! But he ain’t never said nothin’ ’bout that kinda money. But somebody asked him if it is “eight figures”, and he said yes. I don’t know what it means, but it sounds a lot.
He must be livin’ high on the hog with all that dough. Me, I’m happy with my little garden and my chickens. Don’t need no fancy golf clubs to be happy.
But this Brooks, he’s got all sorts of clubs in his bag. Drivers, and putters, and wedges, and all them things. I seen ’em on the TV, all lined up in that big ol’ bag of his.
He’s got that big ol’ driver, the one he uses to whack the ball a mile. Heard they call it a TaylorMade somethin’ or other. Probably cost more than my whole house!
And then he’s got them irons, those Srixon ZX7 MKII ones. Must be good ones, if he’s winnin’ all them tournaments. I wouldn’t know a good iron from a bad one, to be honest.
Then there’s the putter. That’s the one he uses when the ball’s real close to the hole. He taps it in, real gentle-like. He’s got a Scotty Cameron putter, I hear. Fancy name for a fancy club, I reckon.
And don’t forget them wedges! He uses ’em when he’s gotta get the ball up over somethin’, like a sand trap or a bunch of bushes. He’s got some Titleist Vokey wedges. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it?

So, yeah, that Brooks Koepka WITB, it’s a whole lot of fancy clubs. More clubs than I got teeth in my head! But hey, if it helps him win them tournaments, then more power to him. I will keep using my old shovel in my garden, and it works well.
He’s a good golfer, that Brooks. Even I can see that. And he’s got the best clubs money can buy, that’s for sure. He’s livin’ the dream, as they say.
I remember when he first started playing. Nobody knew who he was. Now he’s all over the TV, winnin’ tournaments and makin’ millions. Good for him. He must make his mama proud. I hope he doesn’t forget where he came from.
Me, I’m just gonna go tend to my garden. Don’t need no fancy golf clubs to do that. Just my old trusty trowel and a whole lotta love.
