Okay, so I gotta tell you about this thing I was messing with the other day – “blind side block”. Sounds kinda intense, right? Well, it kinda is.
So, I started out by just reading whatever I could find about it. I mean, who just jumps into something without knowing at least a little bit, you know? Turns out, this “blind side block” thing is a whole situation in some sports games, especially in football.
I started playing around with it. Imagine this: you’re running towards your own goal line, and you suddenly block someone who’s not even expecting it. That’s the basic idea, I guess. And I was like doing it by moving my fists together at chest level, to make it look like the right signal in the rule book. Felt like a real tough guy, haha.
Then I found out they changed the rules about this stuff. Something about making the game safer. Makes sense, I guess. Nobody wants to get hurt. I tried doing it according to the new rules. It’s a bit different now. You gotta block without being too rough, like blocking, but being gentle. It is kinda hard to explain, you know.
After practicing a few times, I kinda got the hang of it. It’s all about timing and making sure you don’t go too hard on the other person. I was running, then blocking, then running some more. Felt pretty good, like I actually knew what I was doing.
- First, I read up on it.
- Then, I tried it out, mimicking the signal I saw.
- Learned about the new rules.
- Practiced it a bunch.
- Finally, it felt like I kinda got it.
It was a whole process, but hey, I learned something new. And I didn’t even hurt myself, which is always a plus! It is not that hard, you just gotta be careful.
