Backlash 2024 Star Ratings: What Them Folks Thought ‘Bout the Fights
Alright, so y’all wanna know ’bout them star thingies for Backlash 2024, huh? That fella, Dave Meltzer, he’s the one who gives ’em out. Seems like he knows a thing or two ’bout wrestlin’, though I reckon I could tell ya who won without all that fancy star stuff. But hey, people like it, so here we go.

They’ll talk about it for years, y’know. “Remember that five-star match?” they’ll say. And if a match don’t get many stars, well, they kinda forget about it.
Me, I just like a good fight. Stars or no stars. But Meltzer, he’s been doin’ this for a long time. People trust him, I guess. He watches real close, sees all the moves, knows what’s good and what ain’t. So, his stars, they mean somethin’ to some folks.

It ain’t just Backlash, y’know. There’s been lots of wrestlin’ this year. Meltzer, he’s seen it all. He’s got stars for everythin’. Some matches get five stars, that’s the best you can get. Some get less, some get none at all. It’s all up to Meltzer, I suppose.
I heard tell there was this fella, Cody Rhodes, he had some good matches. And that other fella, Seth Rollins, him too. They got some good stars, I think. Can’t remember exactly, but Meltzer, he knows. He’s got it all wrote down somewhere.
So, Backlash 2024, Was It Good?
So, was Backlash 2024 any good? Well, if you go by them stars, it seems like it was pretty good. That women’s match, it got a lot of stars. And some other matches, they did alright too. But even without the stars, if folks was cheerin’ and hollerin’, then it was a good show, I reckon. That’s what really matters, ain’t it? People havin’ a good time.
Now, I don’t know ’bout all them fancy moves and technical stuff. I just like to see some good wrestlin’. A good story, you know? Good guys fightin’ bad guys. That’s what I like. And if Meltzer gives it some stars, well, that’s just fine and dandy.
