Okay, so today I decided to mess around with different teams for Arlecchino in Genshin Impact. I’ve been playing for a while now, and I’ve found that team composition can make or break your gameplay, especially when you’re trying to take down tough enemies or clear those pesky domains. So, I spent the entire day experimenting, swapping characters in and out, and seeing what worked best with our girl Arlecchino.
First off, I started with the Neuvillette Hypercarry team. I figured, hey, Arlecchino’s got that pyro element, so maybe someone with a strong hydro attack would make a good partner, right? I put Neuvillette in the lead and started testing them out against some hilichurls.
- Started a battle with Neuvillette as the main damage dealer.
- Observed how quickly he took down enemies with his charged attacks.
- Switched to Arlecchino to apply pyro and then back to Neuvillette for some vaporize action.
Man, it was pretty smooth. Neuvillette’s damage output is insane, and when you combine that with Arlecchino’s pyro, you get some powerful vaporize reactions. But it wasn’t perfect. I felt like Arlecchino wasn’t getting enough field time, and I really wanted her to shine more.
Next up, I tried the Kazuha Electro Charged Swirl team. This one was a bit more chaotic but in a fun way. I used Kazuha to swirl electro and hydro, creating these huge electro-charged reactions, and then I’d bring in Arlecchino to add some overload to the mix.
- Used Kazuha’s skill to group enemies and apply elements.
- Brought in an electro character to proc electro-charged with the hydro element.
- Unleashed Arlecchino’s burst to create overload reactions.
This team comp was a blast to play. There were elemental reactions popping off everywhere, and the damage numbers were pretty impressive. But, it was a bit tricky to manage all those elements, and sometimes I’d mess up the rotation, ending up with less damage than I wanted.
After that, I decided to try something a bit different with a Wanderer Hydro Blow team. I thought maybe a team focused on dealing big, single hits would be a good fit for Arlecchino. I had Wanderer and a hydro character like Yelan or Xingqiu for that. And then used a strong buffer like Bennett.
- Started by applying hydro with Yelan.
- Used Wanderer’s skill to deal some serious anemo damage.
- Swapped to Arlecchino and used her attacks, which got buffed thanks to Bennett and Pyro resonance.
This team was okay, but honestly, it didn’t feel as satisfying as the others. Arlecchino’s damage was solid, especially with Bennett’s buff and the pyro resonance, but it just didn’t have that ‘wow’ factor I was looking for. I wanted her to do more damage so I needed to find another teammate to help her do that, perhaps Furina.
Then, in the end I tried just doing a straight-up mono pyro team with Arlecchino, Bennett, and a couple of other pyro characters. I thought, why not just maximize Arlecchino’s pyro damage? But even with Bennett’s attack buff and the pyro resonance, it still felt like I was missing out on those sweet, sweet elemental reactions. It was strong, but not as fun or dynamic as the other teams.
So, after a whole day of experimenting, I realized that Arlecchino really shines when she’s part of a team that can create powerful elemental reactions. I feel I need a hydro teammate to work with, and a strong buffer. Sure, you can make her work in a mono pyro team, but where’s the fun in that? In the end, I think I’m going to keep messing around with different team comps until I find that perfect one for her. After all, that’s half the fun of playing Genshin, right?
