Alright, so I’ve been seeing a lot of questions online about Alex Pereira’s walkout song, and honestly, I was curious too! So I did a little digging and, more importantly, tried it out myself to see what the fuss was about.
First, I found the song. Turns out it’s called “Itsári” by Sepultura. It’s an instrumental track. And, I gotta say, it’s pretty intense. No wonder Pereira uses it – it gets you pumped.
The Experiment Begins
I decided to use the song for my own workout. Not a UFC fight, obviously, just my regular gym session. I wanted to see if it changed my mindset, you know, gave me that extra edge.
- I queued up the song on my phone.
- I put on my headphones.
- I started my warm-up as the music began.
Okay, I have to admit, even just walking to the weights felt different. The music is heavy, rhythmic, and yeah, it definitely made me feel a little more… fierce. It’s primal almost. I’m used to working out my regular pop music,it just different.
I went through my usual routine – squats, bench press, deadlifts – and I noticed I was pushing myself a little harder than usual. It’s hard to say if it was just the music, but I definitely felt more focused and, dare I say, more aggressive (in a good way, of course!).
Then I do the next.I changed my * I go for a run in the morning,I try to listen this song,* also makes my running time longer than before.

The Verdict
So, after my little experiment, I totally get why Pereira uses “Itsári”. It’s not just a song; it’s a whole vibe. It gets you in the zone, connects you to something… bigger, I guess. I’m not saying I’m going to start fighting professionally, but I might keep this song on my workout playlist for those days when I need an extra boost. I belive it’s because “Itsári” means “Roots”,it gives me a feeling to back to the nature.
If you’re looking for something to amp up your workout or just want to experience what Pereira feels before a fight, I definitely recommend giving “Itsári” a listen. Just don’t blame me if you start feeling like you can take on the world!
