Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of talk online about Alex Pereira’s tattoos, and honestly, I was curious too. So, I decided to do a deep dive and, well, map them all out. It was way more involved than I thought!
Getting Started
First, I spent like, a whole afternoon just scrolling through Instagram, searching for any decent pictures of Pereira. Fight photos, training shots, even those random fan pics – I looked at everything. The problem? Finding clear shots of all the tattoos was tough. Some were always covered by his fight gear, others were at weird angles, and some were just plain blurry.
Piecing it Together
I started a messy document. No, seriously, it was a chaotic mix of screenshots and scribbled notes. I tried to categorize them – left arm, right arm, chest, back, etc. For each tattoo, I wrote down what I thought it was, and how confident I was about that guess. Like, “Left bicep: Definitely some kind of tribal design… 70% sure?”
- Left Arm: Lots of tribal stuff, seemed pretty consistent.
- Right Arm: More tribal, but also some text I couldn’t quite make out.
- Chest: This one was tricky! I could see hints of something large, but couldn’t get a full picture.
- Back: Almost impossible to see in most photos. Total mystery for a while.
Filling in the Gaps
After the initial photo hunt, I hit up some MMA forums and fan pages. Turns out, other people were just as curious as I was! I found a few discussions where people had spotted different details, and even some close-up shots from weigh-ins that I had missed. That’s when things started coming together.
The Results (So Far!)
It’s still a work in progress, to be honest. But I’m pretty confident about the majority of them now.
The tribal designs on his arms, Those are super prominent and represent his indigenous heritage, which is awesome. The chest piece is finally * is a big, bold piece. The back? Still a bit of a puzzle, but I’m getting there! It require more searching.
It’s been a fun little project, and it definitely gave me a new appreciation for Pereira’s ink. I might even update this as I find more info, so stay tuned!
