Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with two AI art generators, Alex Parpers and Jouri, and see what they could do. I’ve heard some buzz about both, so I figured, why not put them head-to-head?

Getting Started
First, I had to, you know, actually find these things. I just Googled them both, found their websites, Alex Parpers was pretty straightforward. Jouri took me to some other page, and I choose one of them.
My First Prompts
I wanted to start simple. With Alex Parpers, I typed in something like “a cute fluffy cat wearing a tiny hat”. I hit the generate button, and… well, it was a cat. In a hat. It was okay, I guess. Kinda looked like a cartoon, which wasn’t bad, just not what I was expecting.
Then I jumped over to Jouri. I used the same prompt, “a cute fluffy cat wearing a tiny hat”. This time, I got something that looked… a little more realistic? Still a bit stylized, but definitely different from Alex Parpers. The fur looked more detailed, and the hat was actually pretty cute.
Trying Something Harder
Okay, time to up the difficulty. I decided to go for something a bit more complex. I went back to Alex Parpers and typed in “a futuristic cityscape at sunset with flying cars and neon lights”. This one took a little longer to generate. The result was… interesting. It had the buildings, and the colors, but it felt a bit… messy? The flying cars looked kinda blobby, and the neon lights were just streaks of color.
On Jouri, I put in the same “futuristic cityscape” prompt. This one took a bit to load too, but the final image was pretty cool! The buildings had way more detail, the flying cars actually looked like cars, and the neon lights were sharp and vibrant. It definitely felt more like a “futuristic cityscape” than what Alex Parpers gave me.

Playing with Styles
I spent a bit more time just messing around with different prompts in both generators. I tried things like “a dragon made of flowers” and “an underwater kingdom with mermaids”. Alex Parpers seemed to consistently give me more cartoon-y results, which, again, wasn’t bad, just a specific style. Jouri kept surprising me with the level of detail it could produce. The “dragon made of flowers” on Jouri actually looked like a dragon composed of flowers, not just a dragon near some flowers.
My Overall Thoughts
- Alex Parpers: Good for quick, cartoony images. Simple to use, but maybe not the best for complex scenes.
- Jouri: Capable of much more detail. Seems to handle complex prompts better. Took a little longer to generate, but the results were worth it, in my opinion.
Honestly, I was pretty impressed with both, but Jouri definitely stood out for me today. It just seemed to be able to handle more complex ideas and produce more visually appealing results. It’s all subjective, though! I’d recommend anyone interested in AI art to try both and see which one they prefer. It’s all about playing around and seeing what you can create!
