Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about Alex Orji and his supposed 40-yard dash time. I’m a bit of a stats nerd, and I like to see things for myself, so I decided to do a little digging and, more importantly, some actual timing.

The Setup
First, I needed to find some reliable footage. I spent a good chunk of time scouring the internet, I looked at videos, and I checked all sources of information I could find, but I didn’t find any videos of him running the 40.
My Makeshift “Testing”
- The Location: I ended find anything useful, so I gave up timing.
- Equipment: Just my stopwatch and a lot of disappointment.
The “Runs” (or Lack Thereof)
Yeah, so this is where things went… nowhere. My plan was simple, start the timer the instant I saw him, stop when he crossed the 40, and then I failed to find any information about him running it!
My (Very Unofficial) Conclusion
Honestly, I gave up. I couldn’t find him running any 40 time to clock him on.
So, there you have it – my very unscientific, and ultimately unsuccessful, attempt to clock Alex Orji’s 40 time. Maybe someday I’ll get some real data, but for now, it’s all a mystery to me.
