Well, lemme tell ya, this here Rhamondre Stevenson, he’s a football player, I reckon. He plays for that there New England Patriots team. Now, I ain’t one for all that fancy football stuff, but I hear folks talkin’ ’bout startin’ him in their fantasy teams and what not.
This week, they say it’s Week 15. Time sure does fly when you’re havin’ fun, or watchin’ it, I guess. And they got these playoff things now. Big deal, I suppose. All I know is that boy, Rhamondre, he’s been doin’ alright.
They say he’s playin’ against the Arizona Cardinals. Cardinals, huh? Sounds like a bunch of birds to me. Maybe they’ll fly him down the field!
Start Rhamondre Stevenson? Some folks is askin’ if they should be startin’ this Stevenson fella. Sounds like a big decision. They call him an “RB3 option.” I don’t know what that means, but it don’t sound too good. But, then again, folks always say things are “risky.” Everything’s risky these days! Crossin’ the street is risky!
I hear some fancy-pants “experts” talkin’ ’bout whether you should start him or not. They got all these numbers and whatnots. Give me a break!
Listen, here’s what I think. That Rhamondre, he’s a big, strong boy. I seen him on the TV, runnin’ with that ball like a chicken with its head cut off. He can run, I’ll give him that.
So, if you got him on your team, your fantasy team, or whatever you call it, why not give him a go? What’s the worst that can happen? He fumbles the ball? Well, that happens. My ol’ man used to fumble things all the time.
- He runs good.
- He’s strong, that boy.
- Cardinals ain’t nothin’ but birds.
- Playoffs is here. Whatever that means.
Now, I ain’t no expert like them fellas on the TV. But I’ve seen a thing or two in my day. And I’ve seen that Rhamondre Stevenson run. And he runs good.
So, go on and start Rhamondre Stevenson. Might as well. See what happens. Might just win ya some points, or whatever it is you win in that game.
I remember this one time, back in my day, we had a rooster named Bucky. He was a mean ol’ bird. But he could run. Reminds me of that Stevenson boy. Strong and fast.
These fancy football folks got all these names. Jonathan Taylor, Sincere McCormick, Bucky Irving. It’s a whole thing. It is all mumbo jumbo if you ask me. But this Rhamondre Stevenson, that’s a name I can remember.
And they say he’s against the Cardinals. Well, if he can run from a rooster, he can run from some birds. That’s what I say.
Week 15, huh? Seems like just yesterday it was Week 1. Time flies when you’re… well, when you’re gettin’ old, I guess. But that Stevenson boy, he’s young. He’s got plenty of runnin’ left in him.
So, if you’re gonna play that fantasy football, and you got that Rhamondre Stevenson on your team, I say, why not? Give him a shot. See what he can do.
He might surprise ya. He might just be the one to win it all for ya. Or he might not. That’s the fun of it, ain’t it? Not knowin’.
Me? I’ll be watchin’. And I’ll be rootin’ for that Stevenson boy. ‘Cause he runs like a good old country boy and I think he will do some good run this week. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it? Runnin’ good and tryin’ hard.
Now, don’t you go tellin’ everyone I said all this. I ain’t no football expert. I just know what I see. And I see a boy who can run. And in this world, that’s somethin’ special. Go ahead and start Rhamondre Stevenson.
Anyway, all you need to know about football is this: run fast and run hard. That boy Stevenson does both. So start Rhamondre Stevenson!
