Well, well, well, look what we have here. Steph Curry and LeBron James, huh? Two big names in that basketball game. I hear them young folks talkin’ ’bout ’em all the time. They say these two are the best of the best. I seen ’em on that TV screen, runnin’ and jumpin’ and throwin’ that ball. It’s a sight, I tell ya.
That Steph Curry, he’s a skinny fella, ain’t he? But they say he can shoot that ball from anywhere. Like he’s got some kinda magic in his hands. He plays for that Golden State, I reckon. They say he was good at shooting, that three point, or whatever they call it. And he’s good at those free throws, too. He make ’em most of the time. People always yelling about that.
And then there’s LeBron James. Now, he’s a big one. Built like a brick, that one. He just plows through folks like they ain’t even there. And he can jump! Lord, can he jump! Seen him fly through the air like a bird, dunkin’ that ball. They say he’s been around a long time, playin’ for different teams. He’s like a wanderin’ soul, that one. They say he can do a lot. Shoot the ball, pass the ball. He is good at getting the ball after someone misses a shot. They call it a rebound, or somethin’.
- Steph Curry points per game? They say it’s a lot, maybe 30 or more.
- LeBron James points per game? A bit less than 30, maybe 25, I heard.
- Both of ’em are good, that’s for sure.
They always comparin’ these two, like they’re in some kinda contest. Who’s better, who’s stronger, who’s faster? It’s all a bunch of hoopla, if you ask me. They both play good, they both make a lot of money, and they both make people happy. Ain’t that what matters? Folks love to watch ’em play. That’s what I see.
This LeBron James fella, they say he’s better at grabbin’ the ball after someone misses. And he’s better at stoppin’ the other fellas from shootin’. That’s what they say, anyway. He is better at passing the ball, too. They say he passes a lot, this LeBron James. It is like, 6 or 7 times a game, I think.
Steph Curry, though, they say he can steal that ball like a fox in a henhouse. Faster than a greased piglet, that one. And he don’t miss them free throws often. Steph Curry passes the ball a lot, too. Almost as much as that LeBron James. It is almost 7 times each game.
Now, they talk about somethin’ called “playoffs.” Like a special tournament, or somethin’. They say LeBron James does better in those. Scores more, grabs more rebounds, blocks more shots. Like he’s a whole different animal in those “playoffs.”
They say these two have played against each other many times. And that LeBron James, he usually scores more points when they go head-to-head, whatever that means. They say he gets more rebounds, too. And more assists, I think. He also blocks more shots when they are against each other.
- LeBron James and Steph Curry played against each other a lot.
- LeBron James usually does better when they play each other.
- But Steph Curry is still a good player.
People say LeBron James is better, but people also like Steph Curry. It is hard to say who is better. It is like, some people like apples and some people like oranges. It don’t matter what I like. They both good at basketball.
Some folks say Steph Curry should be considered one of the best ever, even better than LeBron James. Can you believe that? The best ever! It’s a big title, that one. There was another fella, Michael Jordan, they say he was the best. Now, they are saying maybe Steph Curry can be the best.
That Steph Curry, he said his favorite player was Reggie Miller. Who’s that? I don’t know. But if Steph Curry liked him, he must have been good. That’s all I know.
They got all these numbers and statistics. It’s all too much for me. I just like watchin’ ’em play. It’s excitin’. I don’t need all them numbers to tell me who’s good and who ain’t. My eyes can see that just fine.
It don’t matter who’s better. They both good boys, I reckon. Workin’ hard, playin’ hard. That’s all that matters. They are both good at basketball. They are both famous. And that’s all there is to it, I suppose.
