Alright, let’s talk about this Timberwolves and Bulls game, you know, the basketball. I don’t know all them fancy words, but I watched the game, and I can tell ya what happened.
Timberwolves done whooped the Bulls, that’s what happened. They scored a whole bunch of points, way more than them Bulls. I heard someone say somethin’ ’bout the Timberwolves scorin’ over 114 points on average this season, that’s a whole lot of points, ain’t it? This game, though? Felt like even more. They was just runnin’ and gunnin’, and them Bulls couldn’t keep up.
Now, I don’t remember all the player names, too many of ’em and they sound all the same. But that big fella for the Timberwolves, he was a real monster. Grabbin’ all the rebounds, puttin’ the ball in the hoop. He was just too strong for them Bulls fellas. Then there was that quick little guard, zippin’ around like a fly, passin’ the ball everywhere. He was somethin’ else.
The Bulls, well, they tried. They got a few good players, too. That one fella, he can shoot the ball real good, made a bunch of them three-pointers. Someone was askin’ how many three-pointers the Bulls made, I don’t rightly know, but it was a good few. But it just wasn’t enough, ya know? They couldn’t stop the Timberwolves from scorin’, and they couldn’t score enough themselves.
- The Timberwolves, they was strong.
- The Bulls, they was tryin’ hard.
- But the Timberwolves, they was just too good.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout the “spread” and the “over/under.” Sounded like gibberish to me. All I know is the Timberwolves won by a whole bunch, more than that 9.5 points they was talkin’ about. And the score, it was way up there, over that 226.5 points they was predictin’. So, I guess if you bet on the Timberwolves and the over, you’d be happy.
They said these two teams have played a whole bunch of times before, like 67 times or somethin’. And I guess the Timberwolves have been doin’ pretty good against the Bulls lately, I dunno about all them past games, but this one? This one was all Timberwolves.
You can look at all them stats they got, all them numbers and charts. They got everything, ya know? Points, rebounds, assists, how many shots they made, how many they missed. They even got them fancy stats, steals and blocks and whatnot. But you don’t need all that to see who won. Just watch the game, you can see it with your own eyes.
I tell ya, basketball these days is somethin’ else. These fellas are tall and fast and strong. They jump so high and run so fast, it’s amazing. And the way they pass the ball, whippin’ it around, it’s like they got eyes in the back of their heads. I don’t always understand what’s goin’ on, all them fancy plays and rules, but it sure is excitin’ to watch.
Someone was tellin’ me you can even see the stats live, while the game is goin’ on. Can you believe that? They got computers and phones and all sorts of things trackin’ everythin’. You can see who’s scorin’, who’s reboundin’, who’s doin’ what, right there on your phone. It’s a whole new world, I tell ya.
So, yeah, the Timberwolves beat the Bulls. They played better, they scored more, they won the game. That’s the long and short of it. And if you wanna know more than that, well, you gotta go look at them stats yourself, ’cause I ain’t got time for all that. I just watch the game and tell it like I see it.
And let me tell you, what I saw was the Timberwolves whoopin’ the Bulls, plain and simple. They was the better team that night, no doubt about it. Now, I’m gonna go make myself some supper. All this talk about basketball has made me hungry.
