Alright, alright, let’s talk about this WWE 2k24 game, you know, the wrestling one. My grandkids, they love this stuff, always yelling and jumping around. So I figured, why not take a look, see what all the fuss is about.
First off, they got this thing called MyRise. Now, I ain’t no gamer, but from what I gather, it’s like you make your own wrestler, a “CAW” they call it, and you go through your own story. Sounds kinda neat, I guess. You get to fight and do all that wrestling stuff.
- They got two stories in this MyRise thing.
- One’s called “Undisputed” and the other’s “Unleashed”.
Don’t ask me what they mean, I just know what the kids told me. But listen, this Undisputed one, it’s way better. More stuff happening, I think. The other one, Unleashed, it’s alright, but not as good. Like, you know, when you make biscuits and one batch is just fluffier and tastier? It’s like that.
The game, it looks real nice. Shiny and sparkly. The wrestlers, they look like the real fellas on TV, all sweaty and grunting. My grandkids, they were pointing out all their favorites, yelling their names. “That’s so-and-so!” they’d shout. Kids these days, they know everything.
Now, the fighting, that’s where the real action is. You got punches, kicks, slams, all that good stuff. You can even grab chairs and ladders and smack people with them! I tell you, it’s a real hoot. Though, sometimes it gets a bit much, all that yelling and violence. Reminds me of the chickens back on the farm, always pecking at each other.
I heard some folks saying this game is a real winner, a “definitive win” they called it. Guess that means it’s pretty darn good. And you know what? I kinda agree. It ain’t perfect, mind you. Sometimes the controls are a bit wonky, and the wrestlers do some strange things. Like, one time, this big fella, he just started floating in the air! But overall, it’s fun. Keeps the grandkids entertained, and that’s what matters, right?
They changed things up a bit from the last game, WWE 2k23. Made it better, I reckon. Smoother, faster, more stuff to do. It’s like when you add a bit more sugar to your sweet tea, just makes it that much better. My grandkids, they played the old one too, and they said this one is way better. And kids, they don’t lie about these things. Not about their video games, anyway.
And the best part? You can play as all sorts of wrestlers, old and new. Folks I remember from way back when, and these new fellas with their fancy moves and colorful outfits. It’s like a whole history lesson in wrestling! Though, I gotta say, some of these new guys, they got some weird haircuts. Not like the good old days, when men had proper haircuts, you know?
So, if you’re looking for a game to keep the young’uns busy, or if you just want to smack some virtual fellas around, this WWE 2k24, it ain’t half bad. Just don’t expect it to be like real life. Wrestling, it’s all for show, you know. Like those soap operas on TV, all drama and theatrics. But hey, sometimes that’s just what you need, a bit of fun and excitement.
They got different kinds of matches too. Regular ones, tag teams, cage matches, all sorts. It’s like a buffet of wrestling! You can pick and choose what you want. And let me tell you, those cage matches, they’re something else. All that climbing and banging, it’s intense! Reminds me of trying to catch a runaway pig, all that scrambling and squealing.
This WWE 2k24 review, it’s just my two cents, you know. I ain’t no expert, just an old lady who likes to see her grandkids happy. And this game, it does the trick. They laugh, they yell, they have a good time. And that’s good enough for me. So if you’re thinking about getting it, I say go for it. Just be prepared for a whole lotta noise and excitement. And maybe hide the good furniture, just in case.
The game got a lot of good reviews from them fancy critics too. They know more than me, I reckon. But like I said, you don’t need to be an expert to see that this game is fun. It’s got something for everyone, young and old, whether you’re a wrestling fan or not. So there you have it, my take on WWE 2k24. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some cookies for those hungry grandkids. All that wrestling makes them work up an appetite, you know.
