Alright, so you wanna know about this Monopoly Go City Cleanup thing, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t rocket science. It’s just a game, like them board games we used to play, only now it’s on them fancy phones.
What’s this City Cleanup thing all about?
From what I gather, it’s like this. You gotta do stuff in the game to get points. You get enough points, you hit these “milestones.” Think of it like them steps on a ladder, each one gets ya a little closer to the top.
And what’s at the top, you ask? Well, they got prizes, rewards, whatever you wanna call ’em. Could be some extra rolls, could be some fancy shield for your little game pieces. They say you can get up to 16 somethings at the very end, but honestly, I don’t pay much mind to that. It’s all just a bunch of hooey if you ask me.
How do you get them points?
Well, that’s the tricky part, ain’t it? They don’t spell it out for ya clear as day. But from what my grandkids tell me, you gotta land on certain spots, roll certain numbers, do this, do that. It’s all a big jumble if you ask me. But they seem to figure it out, them young’uns and their fancy phones.
Milestones and Rewards – What do ya get?
Now, they got this long list of milestones, and each one gives you something different. I can’t remember ’em all, there’s too darn many. But they got things like dice rolls, money, sometimes even them Peg-E tokens. My grandkid was tellin’ me somethin’ about needing more than 700 extra of them tokens, but I just nodded along. Sounded like a whole lotta nothin’ to me.
- Dice Rolls: You always need more dice to keep playin’, right?
- Money: Can’t do much in Monopoly without money, even if it’s just pretend.
- Shield Skins: Makes your game pieces look fancy, I guess. Kids like that stuff.
- Peg-E Tokens: Don’t even get me started on these. Apparently, they’re important, but I don’t see the point.
Can you really finish all them milestones?
Now that’s a good question. They make it sound like you can, always danging that carrot in front of ya. “Just one more milestone,” they say. “Just a little bit further,” they say. But I reckon it’s just a way to keep ya playin’, keep ya spendin’. My grandkid’s always complaining about how he’s “just one milestone away” from getting this or that. It never ends, I tell ya.
About that Monopoly Go Game itself…
It’s made by some company over in America, and they’re always trying to get ya to spend your money. They got these in-app purchases, they call ’em. Little things you can buy to help ya in the game. Costs anywhere from a couple of dollars to a whole hundred, can you believe it? Highway robbery, if you ask me. But folks keep buying, so I guess they’re doin’ alright.
The game came out last year. First in America, then everywhere else. They keep updatin’ it too, addin’ new stuff, changin’ things around. Keeps the kids busy, I guess. But honestly, I think they’d be better off playin’ outside.
So, what’s the bottom line?
Well, it’s a game. You play, you get points, you get rewards. Don’t get too caught up in it, though. It ain’t real life. And don’t go spendin’ all your hard-earned money on it either. That’s just foolish.
That’s about all I know about this City Cleanup thing. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some real cleanin’ to do.
