Alright, so, you wanna know about them soccer fellas, the Frosinone Calcio and the AS Roma, right? And their ratings? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I heard. It ain’t gonna be fancy, mind you, just plain talk, like we’re sittin’ on the porch, shuckin’ peas.
Frosinone versus Roma, huh? That game, I tell ya, it was somethin’. Roma, they won, yeah. But it wasn’t no walk in the park, no sir. Frosinone, they put up a fight, like a scrappy dog tryin’ to get a bone from a bigger dog. They didn’t roll over and play dead, that’s for sure. I heard them fellas on the radio talkin’ ‘bout it. Said Roma just barely squeaked by.
Now, about them ratings… that’s how good each fella played, right? Well, I don’t have no fancy charts or nothin’. But I can tell ya what I heard. See, Roma, they got some fellas, real stars, they say. But even stars, they have their good days and bad days, like anyone else. One day you’re pickin’ peaches, next day you’re gettin’ stung by bees, you know what I mean?
- For Roma, I heard some fella, maybe they called him… Totti? Yeah, somethin’ like that. They say he used to be the best, always runnin’ and kickin’ the ball. But he ain’t playin’ no more, I think. Too old, maybe. Happens to the best of us. Your knees start creakin’, and your back starts achin’.
- Then there’s this other fella, De Rossi, they say he was real good too. Tough as nails, they say. Ran around like a chicken with its head cut off, but in a good way, you know? Always chasin’ that ball.
- But these fellas, they are from the past, the radio said they got new stars now. But honestly I don’t remember their names, too many foreign names for this old lady.
Frosinone, well, they ain’t got no big names like Roma, I guess. But they work hard, them fellas. They run and they sweat and they try their best. And that’s somethin’, ain’t it? Reminds me of farmin’ season, everybody workin’ from sunup to sundown.
The game, it was close, real close. Roma scored a goal, maybe two, I don’t rightly remember. But Frosinone, they kept pushin’. Like I said, they ain’t no pushovers. They got some fight in ‘em.
Now, if you want them official ratings, with all the numbers and whatnot, you gotta go look it up online. I ain’t got that kinda stuff. I just tell it like I see it, or like I hear it, anyway. Roma, they won, but Frosinone, they made ‘em work for it.
This here Roma team, they got a long history, like a big ol’ oak tree. Been around for a long time, winnin’ some, losin’ some. Frosinone, they’re more like a young sprout, just growin’. But they got potential, you can see it. Like a little calf that’ll grow into a big strong bull.
So, player ratings? Roma, they got some good fellas, some real stars. But Frosinone, they got heart. And sometimes, heart is more important than all that fancy footwork and high falutin’ skills. You ask me, that’s the truth of it. It ain’t always about who’s got the most talent, it’s about who wants it more, who’s willin’ to work harder, who’s gonna keep fightin’ till the whistle blows.
This here soccer, it’s like life, ain’t it? Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But you gotta keep goin’, keep tryin’, keep fightin’. And that’s what them Frosinone fellas did, even if they didn’t win. They kept on fightin’. And that, to me, is worth somethin’. That deserves a good rating in my book, even if the numbers folks say somethin’ different.
So there ya have it, my take on that Roma versus Frosinone game and their player ratings. It ain’t fancy, but it’s honest. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.
