Well, let me tell you about this “A True Arena Champion Wuthering Waves” thing. It’s like, this game, right? You gotta do stuff to become a champion, like in them old-timey gladiator fights, but with more…waves, I guess. Sounds fancy, but it ain’t all that complicated once you get the hang of it.
First off, you gotta find this fella named Zeyuan. Poor guy’s always in trouble, surrounded by them wolf things, Fusion Dreadmanes they call ‘em. Scary lookin’ critters, let me tell ya. You gotta save his hide. He’s over by Wuming Bay, near some old ruins. They say to teleport to some Forgery Challenge place, Eroded Ruins or somethin’. Then head south. Can’t miss him, he’s the one yellin’ for help, probably. You gotta beat up those wolves and talk to him. That’s how you start this whole champion thing, this “A True Arena Champion” side quest or whatever they call it. Some folks also call it “The Hidden Truth,” which just makes things confusing if you ask me.
So, you saved Zeyuan, good for you! Now what? Well, he leads you to this camp, by the sea. That’s where the Seaside Arena is. Sounds grand, don’t it? It ain’t much, just a bunch of folks lookin’ for a fight. You go in there and talk to the Gladiator Champion and some Smiling Exile fella. They’re the ones runnin’ the show, I reckon.
Now, here’s where it gets tricky, kinda. This Zeyuan fella, he’s got more problems than a hen with too many chicks. Seems there’s this other thing, this “Hidden Truth” achievement. You gotta save another exile to get it started. This one’s up north, near some old house, Remnant Residence they call it. He’s on a little island, surrounded by more of them TD fellas. TDs, TGs, they got too many letters in this game, makes my head spin. Anyway, you gotta help him out too. Seems like Zeyuan can’t catch a break.
- First, find Zeyuan at Wuming Bay.
- Beat up the Fusion Dreadmanes.
- Talk to Zeyuan and start “A True Arena Champion.”
- Go to the Seaside Arena.
- Talk to the Gladiator Champion and Smiling Exile.
- Find the Exile near Remnant Residence to start “The Hidden Truth.”
So, what do you get for all this trouble? Well, you get to be a champion, of course! And you get this trophy, “A Desperate Gamble,” they call it. Shows up in your gallery as Huanglong I. Fancy name, but it’s just a picture, far as I can tell. And you get some other rewards too, I guess. They help you get stronger, so you can beat up more bad guys. That’s the whole point, ain’t it?
This whole thing, “A True Arena Champion,” it’s about helpin’ people, mostly Zeyuan. And fightin’. Lots of fightin’. You fight wolves, you fight other folks in the arena, you fight to save exiles. It’s a tough world out there in Wuthering Waves, seems like everyone needs a hand. And you, you’re the one who gives it to ‘em. So, you go on and be that champion. Show them what you’re made of. Even if it’s just a bunch of waves and fancy names, it’s still somethin’ to be proud of.
And remember, keep an eye out for Zeyuan. That boy’s gonna need your help again, sure as eggs is eggs.
Now, go on, git! You got a championship to win!
