Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Dustin Poirier fella and his tattoos. I ain’t no fancy tattoo artist or nothin’, just a plain ol’ person, but I can tell ya what I see and what I hear. This Dustin fella, they say he’s a fighter, a real tough guy. He’s got more tats than I got chickens, that’s for sure.
First off, they say he got his first tattoo when he was just a young’un, like 14 years old. Imagine that! Just a kid, and already gettin’ inked up. Kids these days, I tell ya. Back in my day, we got in trouble for just lookin’ at a tattoo parlor. But this Dustin, he’s different, I guess. He’s a fighter, so maybe it’s part of the job, like wearin’ a uniform or somethin’.
Now, I hear tell he’s got a whole bunch of ’em, maybe 27 or somethin’ like that. That’s a lot of needles, let me tell ya! One of the big ones, the one everybody talks about, is this tiger on his shoulder. A big ol’ Louisiana tiger, they say. And it ain’t just a plain tiger, mind you. It’s got flowers all around it, like it’s in a field or somethin’. Fancy, huh? They say the tiger means strength and bein’ independent. Well, that makes sense for a fighter, don’t it? Gotta be strong to get in that ring and beat people up. And you can’t be depending on others all the time in a one-on-one situation. Gotta be independent.

I also heard he’s got a bunch of other ones, all over the place. I ain’t seen ’em all myself, but folks say he’s pretty much covered. Arms, legs, back, you name it. Must’ve spent a lot of time in that tattoo chair. And a lot of money, too, I bet. Tattoos ain’t cheap, you know. But I guess if you’re a famous fighter like him, you can afford it. They say he’s got like, 6 million dollars. That’s a whole lotta money! Lord have mercy!
Some folks say tattoos tell a story. I don’t know about that, seems like a lot of pain just to tell a story. But this Dustin guy probably has a story for every single one of his tats. Maybe one for his mama, one for his kids, one for each fight he’s won. Who knows? I ain’t gonna ask him, that’s for sure. He might punch my lights out! He’s a champion, you see. A UFC somethin’ or other. Lightweight, they call him. But don’t let that fool ya, he ain’t no lightweight when it comes to fightin’. He’s a brawler, they say. The best there is in his weight class. And you don’t get there without strength.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about this Dustin Poirier and his tattoos. He’s a fighter, he’s got a lot of ink, and that tiger on his shoulder is somethin’ special. Whether you like tattoos or not, you gotta admit, the man’s got his own style. And in the world of fighting, you need all the style and strength you can get.
I mean, what do I know about fightin’? Nothing. I’m just an old woman who knows a thing or two about people. And this Dustin fellow seems like a determined one. Fighting takes determination, and determination comes from having a strong mind and body. And if his tattoos help remind him of that, then more power to him. He seems like he knows what he is doing in that ring. Good for him. I sure can’t go in that ring, I’m too old for that!
