Alright, listen up, y’all. Let me tell ya ’bout that wrestling show, Raw, they had on August 30th, 2024. Don’t ask me why they call it “Raw,” maybe ’cause them fellas beat each other up real good, I dunno. Anyways, it was somethin’ else.
So, first off, they had this fella, CM Punk, I think that’s his name. He’s always got somethin’ to say, kinda like my old rooster, always crowin’. He was goin’ at it with this Seth Rollins fella. Them two, they don’t like each other, no sir. It’s like them cats down the road, always fightin’ over scraps. They wrestled and jawed at each other, real noisy it was.
- CM Punk was yappin’.
- Seth Rollins was yappin’ back.
- They wrestled some.
And then this Sami Zayn fella, he got mixed up in it too. I don’t rightly know what his deal is, but he was in there, flyin’ around like a June bug. It was a whole mess, lemme tell ya. Reminds me of the time the pigs got loose, chaos everywhere.
Now, they also had this Riddle fella and that Seth Rollins again. Seems like Seth was busy that night. They had some kinda problem with each other, standin’ there chest to chest like two bulls. I tell ya, I thought they were gonna start throwin’ punches right then and there, but they just yelled a bit. These fellas, they like to yell a lot. Maybe they need a good cup of chamomile tea, calm ’em down a bit.
And that Bobby Lashley, big fella he is, muscles like a tractor. He was wrestlin’ The Miz. Now, The Miz, he’s kinda skinny, like a beanpole. I didn’t think he stood a chance against Lashley, but he’s sneaky, that one. Like a fox in the henhouse. But Lashley, he’s too strong, like tryin’ to stop a runaway tractor.
They also had these fellas called New Day and the Wyatts. They’ve been feudin’ for a while, like them Hatfield and McCoy families my grandpappy used to talk about. I don’t know who’s who in all that, but they sure do like to fight. The announcer man, he was goin’ on and on about it, but I mostly just tuned him out. Too much talkin’ for my taste. Just get to the fightin’, I say!
Oh, and Randy Orton! That fella’s got a move called the RKO, comes outta nowhere, like a snake in the grass. He used it on Lashley, after Lashley and somebody else won their match, holdin’ on to some belts. Folks went wild. Orton, he’s a sneaky one, but he gets the job done.
They had this show in Evansville, Indiana. Never been there myself. Heard it’s nice, though. Lots of cornfields, probably. Reminds me of home. Anyways, they filmed the whole thing there, all that wrestlin’ and yellin’. I watched it on my TV, though. Much more comfortable than sittin’ in some arena, I reckon.
They also showed this thing from August 5th, a recap they called it. Just showed bits and pieces of stuff that happened before. I guess some folks forget what happened, so they gotta remind ’em. I got a memory like a steel trap, though. Don’t need no recap. I remember when that cow Bessie ate my prize-winning pumpkin, clear as day. Still mad about that.
And they’re gonna have another Raw on September 30th, see. They keep on havin’ ‘em. Must be popular, I guess. Folks like watchin’ other folks beat each other up, I don’t know why. It’s like a train wreck, you just can’t look away.
So that’s about it. That’s what happened on that Raw show on August 30th. Lots of yellin’, lots of fightin’, some sneaky moves, and a whole lotta muscles. Just another day in the world of wrestlin’, I guess. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed my chickens. They yell less than them wrestlers, that’s for sure.
