It’s got its own story, its own way of doin’ things. You walk around in these dungeons, looking all around ya, gotta solve puzzles and fight monsters. And you ain’t alone neither, you got your people with ya, and you can call up some demons to help ya fight, which is kinda neat, if you ask me.
Some folks, they get all hung up on playin’ the games in order. They won’t touch number 2 if they ain’t played number 1. And that’s fine, I guess. But from what I hear, you don’t gotta play number 1 to get what’s goin’ on in number 2. They’re different stories, ya see? Different people, different problems. Maybe some of the same places and names, but that’s about it.
But listen here, this Soul Hackers 1, it’s special, that’s why they call it number 1, I reckon. It’s the first of its kind, ya know? It set the stage, like plantin’ the seeds before you can get the harvest. It’s got that cyberpunk vibe, that story people remember, and that way of playin’ that’s different from all them other games.
