Alright, so, you wanna know about this Linda Steinmark, huh? Well, lemme tell ya what I know. It ain’t always easy to piece things together, ya know, like a quilt with missin’ squares. But I’ll do my best, just like I’m tellin’ ya a story over a cup of coffee.
First off, seems like Linda, she’s been around the block, if ya know what I mean. Heard she was in Denver. Denver, Colorado, that is. Big city, lots of folks. She was with a fella named Kerry, or maybe it was Louis, somethin’ like that. Hard to keep track of these names, they all sound the same after a while. Anyways, she hung up her hat, so to speak, retired in 2014. That’s a good long while ago, ain’t it? Time flies like a bat outta hell, I tell ya.
Now, there’s this other fella, Freddie Steinmark. Seems like he and Linda, they had a thing. A “relationship,” they call it these days. But hold your horses, they didn’t get hitched. Freddie, poor soul, he thought he was kickin’ the bucket, so he up and broke things off with Linda. Scared, I guess. Fear does funny things to people, makes ’em act all sideways.
Talkin’ ’bout fear and sadness, reminds me of losin’ folks. It ain’t easy, no sirree. There’s books about it, ya know, for the doctors and such. Helpin’ kids deal with it. Guess even the little ones ain’t spared from heartache. It’s a whole world of hurt out there, makes ya wanna hug your own tight.
And love? Well, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Linda, she knew about love. Someone said somethin’ ’bout an “eternal memory of love.” Sounds fancy, but I get it. Love sticks with ya, like a good song you can’t get outta your head. It’s what keeps us goin’, even when things get tough.
- Loss
- Love
- Legacy
See, those three things, they go together, like peas in a pod. We lose folks, we love ’em, and then we remember ’em. That’s their legacy, what they leave behind. Like this Ruth lady, there’s a book about her too. Bible stuff, I think. But it’s all the same, ain’t it? Love and loss, that’s the story of life.
And then there’s this talk about tellin’ your life story. Givin’ it as a gift, they say. Well, I reckon that makes sense. We all got a story to tell, even if it ain’t fancy or important. Just gotta find someone willin’ to listen.
And speakin’ of stories, there’s this Legacy of Love Project. Sounds like a good thing, helpin’ folks with their calendars and such. Coach Linda Thomas, that’s the lady runnin’ it. See? Another Linda. Maybe there’s somethin’ special ’bout that name. Makes ya think, don’t it?
So, that’s the gist of it, what I could piece together about Linda Steinmark. A woman who lived, loved, and maybe lost a bit along the way. Just like the rest of us, really. We’re all just tryin’ to make sense of it all, ain’t we? Leavin’ our little mark on the world, hopin’ someone remembers us when we’re gone.
