Alright, alright, let’s gab a bit about this Nelly Korda gal and who her fella is. Folks keep askin’, so I figured I’d spill what I know, ya know, the stuff I heard from my neighbor’s niece who watches them golfin’ games on TV.
So, this Nelly girl, she’s a real good golfer, the best they say. Number one in the whole wide world! Makes ya wonder how much money she’s got, huh? Heard tell it’s a whole heap, millions they say. Anyways, she ain’t married yet, but she’s got a fella. They call him Andreas Athanasiou. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it?
- He plays hockey, you know, that ice game with the sticks and the puck.
- Plays for the Chicago Blackhawks now, but he used to play for other teams too, like the Edmonton Oilers and the Detroit Red Wings.
Been playin’ that hockey since way back in 2012, so he’s been at it a while. They say he’s pretty good, but I ain’t never seen him play, just heard tell. Now, some folks get confused. Nelly’s got a sister, Jessica, who’s also a golfer. And Jessica *is* married. Her husband’s name is Johnny DelPrete, and he sells houses. Big fancy houses, I reckon.
Johnny used to play golf too, but now he’s sellin’ them houses all over the place, even in other countries! He must be makin’ a pretty penny doin’ that. But we’re talkin’ about Nelly, right? So, Nelly and this Andreas fella, they been together since 2019. That’s a good long while, ain’t it? They seem happy enough, from what I see in them pictures. Always smilin’ and such.
Folks keep wonderin’ when they gonna get hitched. I don’t know, maybe soon, maybe not. Young folks these days, they do things their own way. They ain’t in no hurry, it seems. And that’s alright, I guess. Now, Nelly, she had a bit of a bad time recently. Hurt her neck somehow while she was practicin’ that golfin’ of hers. Had to stop playin’ in some tournaments over in Korea and Malaysia. Poor thing.
That must’ve been a real bummer for her. She likes to win, ya know. And she’s real good at it. Won a whole bunch of games this year, tied some kinda record or somethin’. But she’s tough, that Nelly. She’ll be back on that golf course soon enough, swingin’ them clubs and winnin’ more games, I betcha.
And that Andreas fella, he’ll be out there on the ice, hittin’ that puck and tryin’ to score goals. They’re both real busy, those two. But they make time for each other, it seems. That’s important, you know, makin’ time for the people you care about. So that’s the story, as best as I can tell it. Nelly Korda’s fella is Andreas Athanasiou, the hockey player. Not Johnny DelPrete, that’s Jessica’s husband. Got it all straight now? Good. Now let me get back to my gardenin’. These tomatoes ain’t gonna water themselves, you know.
