Alright, let’s talk about this WWE in Columbus, Ohio thing. I heard they’re comin’ to town, and that’s a big deal, you know? Folks get all riled up for wrestling, hootin’ and hollerin’ like it’s the end of the world.
Now, I don’t know much about these fancy wrestlers with their shiny belts and tight pants. But my grandson, that little whippersnapper, he’s all about it. He keeps jabberin’ on about Ray Mysterious or somethin’ like that. Says he’s real good, flippin’ and flyin’ all over the place. Sounds like a rooster on a hot tin roof to me!
They say this thing is happenin’ on November 10th, 2023. That ain’t too far off, is it? Better mark your calendar if you’re one of them wrestling fanatics. Me? I’ll probably be home knittin’ a sweater, but you go on and have your fun.

- People: Rey Mysterio, Charlotte Flair, Gunther… and a whole bunch of others. My grandson could tell ya, but I sure can’t.
- Where to get tickets: They say you can buy ’em online. Ticketmaster, I think they called it. Sounds complicated, but I reckon young folks know how to do it.
And get this, they’re comin’ back in 2024 too! Only time that year, they say. So if you miss it this year, you got another chance. But don’t go blamin’ me if you forget. I ain’t your keeper.
This thing ain’t just some small-time shindig, mind you. It’s a big deal! Like them Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown shows my grandson’s always watchin’. They got all sorts of fancy names for it, like WrestleMania and SummerSlam. Sounds like a whole lot of fuss to me, but folks seem to like it.
They even mentioned some fella named The Miz. Said he’s from Ohio, near Cleveland. Been wrestlin’ since 2004, which is a mighty long time if you ask me. Twenty years! He must be gettin’ old, just like me.
And speaking of places, this here wrestling show is gonna be in Columbus, Ohio. Don’t go showin’ up in Cleveland now, or you’ll be lookin’ like a fool. They’re also havin’ somethin’ called “Smackdown” at the Wells Fargo Center on March 7th. That’s somewhere else, not in Ohio, so don’t get confused. This is all too much for my old brain, I tell ya!
Anyway, if you’re lookin’ for tickets, they said Ticketmaster is the place to go. Apparently, they sell tickets for all sorts of things, not just wrestling. Concerts, sports, plays… you name it. Seems like a busy place. I prefer my peace and quiet, myself.
So there you have it. WWE in Columbus, Ohio. November 10th, 2023. Get your tickets, if you’re so inclined. And don’t forget, they’re comin’ back in 2024 too. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits. They’re probably burnin’ by now.
And if you see my grandson at that wrestling show, tell him to come home before it gets too late. That boy needs his sleep, even if those wrestlers don’t.
One more thing, they also have this “NXT 2.0”, whatever that is. And another one called “Royal Rumble”. Too many names for an old lady like me to remember. You youngsters have fun with it though.
So, that’s the long and short of it. Wrestling in Columbus. Go or don’t go. Makes no difference to me. I’ll be here, minding my own business.
