Alright, let’s talk about this fella, AJ Styles, and that TNA thing. I heard folks talkin’ ‘bout him, sayin’ he was a big deal over there. Don’t know much about wrestlin’ myself, but I can tell ya what I’ve picked up.
AJ Styles, Mr. TNA, you know? That’s what they called him. Sounds fancy, like he was the head honcho or somethin’. He was with them TNA folks for a long time, from 2002 to 2013, that’s what I heard. A whole lotta years, if you ask me.
Now, this TNA, it ain’t the big WWE show you see on TV all the time. But back then, it was a pretty big deal, see? And AJ, he was their main man. He won all sorts of belts. They say he was the NWA World Heavyweight Champion three times, and the TNA World Heavyweight Champion twice. Heavyweight champion, that means he was the toughest, I guess. Like the biggest bull in the pasture, you know?
- NWA World Heavyweight Champion three times
- TNA World Heavyweight Champion twice
- X Division Champion, whatever that is
They also say he was the first-ever X Division Champion. Don’t ask me what that means, sounds like somethin’ for them young folks who like all that flippin’ and flyin’ around. Me? I like good ol’ fashioned rasslin’, where you can see who’s the strongest. But hey, to each their own, right?
And get this, they say AJ made a whole lot of money over there at TNA. Someone told me he was makin’ around $400,000. That’s a lot of hay, let me tell ya. Enough to buy a whole lotta cows and chickens. Guess wrestlin’ pays better than farmin’ these days, huh?
I also heard some talk about AJ not wantin’ to be in the TNA Hall of Fame. Can you believe that? They wanted to put him in with all the other big shots, but he said no. Said he’s still wrestlin’, still active, like he don’t want to be put out to pasture just yet. Good for him, I say. If you still got some fight left in ya, you might as well keep on fightin’.
He was with some fellas, Tomko and Daniels and Samoa Joe, they say. Had some matches, I guess. Wrestlin’ is all about teams and fightin’ each other, from what I can tell. Sounds like a whole lotta drama, if you ask me. But folks seem to like it.
Now, lately, I heard AJ’s been missin’ from the WWE shows. He had a match with that Cody Rhodes fella, and then poof, he’s gone. Folks are wonderin’ where he is, what he’s doin’. But I heard he’s still wrestlin’ at some smaller shows, house shows they call ‘em. So he ain’t done yet, not by a long shot.
So, that’s the story of AJ Styles and TNA, as far as I can tell. He was a big deal over there, won a bunch of championships, made a lot of money. And now he’s doin’ his own thing, still wrestlin’, still goin’ strong. Good for him, I say. He seems like a tough fella, a real fighter. And that’s somethin’ I can respect.
Wrestling, it’s like life, ain’t it? You gotta fight for what you want, you gotta keep on goin’ even when things get tough. And sometimes, you just gotta say no to the Hall of Fame and keep on doin’ your own thing. That’s what AJ Styles did, and I reckon he’s doin’ just fine.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about AJ Styles and TNA. Hope it made some sense to ya. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens.
