Now, some of these folks are rakin’ up hours like they got nothin’ else to do. One fella says he’s put in, like, 2,000 hours or somethin’ crazy like that! And I just wonder, what could you do with all that time? You could be growin’ your own garden or learnin’ to bake some good bread, but nope, they’re sittin’ there, clickin’ away at their controllers.
So, what is all this “time wasted” business in Destiny 2? Well, it seems like every time they come out with a new update, people get more hooked. New quests, new loot, new events—one thing after another. And I guess it can be fun, at first. But after a while, it just feels like you’re runnin’ around in circles. I’ve heard folks say that in Destiny 1, they spent maybe a few hundred hours, but in D2, oh boy, that time just seems to pile up! If I had that many hours to spend, I reckon I’d be a lot better off! Maybe I’d have a nice garden with flowers, or some fresh veggies for supper.

It ain’t bad to enjoy a little game now and then, but don’t let it take over your whole day, your whole life. There’s a whole big world out there, and you might miss it if you’re too busy chasin’ loot and fightin’ monsters in a virtual world. Time’s too precious to waste on that forever.
