Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Viktor Hovland. Heard folks are worried about him bein’ hurt. Well, lemme tell ya what I know, what I heard around the bend.
So, this Hovland, he’s a golfer, plays with them sticks and balls. Good at it, too, from what they say. But seems like he got himself a bit banged up. Now, they ain’t tellin’ us exactly what’s wrong with him, keepin’ it all hush-hush like. Say it’s an “undisclosed injury.” Don’t know why they gotta be so secretive. Makes a body wonder, don’t it?
- Is he really hurt? Well, seems like it. They say he ain’t gonna be playin’ no more this year, 2024. That’s a long time to be sittin’ on the sidelines. Must be somethin’ serious, even if they ain’t sayin’.
- Can he still play in that Ryder Cup thing? Heard somethin’ about that. Seems like they changed the rules for him, cuz he didn’t play enough games or somethin’. But they’re lettin’ him in anyway, on account of the injury, I reckon. Nice of ’em, I guess.
This fella, Ben Parsons, from that * place, he’s the one who said Hovland’s still eligible for the Ryder Cup. Don’t know who Ben Parsons is, but he seems to know what’s goin’ on.
Now, Hovland, he says it ain’t a serious injury. But if it ain’t serious, why ain’t he playin’? Makes a body scratch their head, it does. Maybe he’s just bein’ tough, don’t wanna let on how bad it is.
They say he was playin’ in somethin’ called the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and he didn’t do so good. Maybe that’s when he got hurt. Or maybe he was already hurt and tryin’ to push through the pain. Hard to say.
This Golfweek fella, they’re the ones sayin’ he’s out for the rest of the year. Guess they know what they’re talkin’ about. Shame, too. He had a good year last year, won some big tournament and a cup or somethin’.
Could be he’s just fakin’ it, you know? Maybe he just wants a break. Playin’ all them games, travelin’ all over, it’s gotta be tirin’. But I don’t know, seems like a fella like him, he’d wanna keep playin’, keep winnin’. Unless he’s really hurt, of course.
Anyway, that’s all I got. Just hope the boy gets better soon. Don’t like to see nobody sufferin’, no matter who they are.
