Alright, so the Falcons game was coming up today, and I got myself settled in, ready to watch. One of the first things I always wonder is who’s going to be calling the game. You know, the announcers. Sometimes you get a crew you really like, other times… not so much.

So, I figured I’d find out who we had on the mic today. First thing I did was just turn on the TV a bit early. Flipped over to the channel the game was supposed to be on. Sometimes they show the announcers during the pre-game stuff, standing on the field or whatever.
Waited a few minutes, saw some pre-game analysis, but nothing concrete on the main booth crew yet. They mentioned the sideline reporter once, I think, but I wanted the main play-by-play and color guys.
My Search Process
Okay, TV wasn’t giving it up easily. So, I grabbed my phone. Just opened up a search engine. My first thought was to type in something simple like “announcers for falcons game today”.
Got a bunch of results, as you’d expect. Some were news articles about the game itself, betting lines, injury reports – the usual stuff. Had to scroll past that.
I then tried being a bit more specific, maybe adding the network name, like “Falcons broadcast team [Network Name]”. That seemed to narrow it down a bit better. Started seeing results that looked more promising, mentioning broadcast crews for the week’s games.

- Checked a couple of sports news sites – the kind that usually post the weekly announcer assignments.
- Looked through a few different pages.
- Finally landed on one that had the full list for today’s games.
Found Them!
Success! Took a few minutes, but I found the info. It popped up on a page listing the broadcast details. For today’s Falcons game, the crew listed was:
- The usual play-by-play person for that network’s ‘B’ or ‘C’ team.
- A former player I recognized handling the color commentary.
- And the sideline reporter I thought I heard mentioned earlier.
So yeah, that’s who was set to call the game. Wasn’t too hard to find, just had to sift through some of the general game news first. Now I know who to expect when the broadcast starts. Always like knowing beforehand.
