Okay, so the other day I realized I completely lost track of what WWE calls their big shows now. Pay-Per-Views? Premium Live Events? Whatever they’re called, I wanted to know the schedule for 2023 because I felt like I was missing stuff.

My first step was just firing up my computer and doing a quick search. Typed in something like “wwe big shows 2023”. That brought up a whole mess of news articles, rumors, and stuff about past events. Not really a clean list, you know? It was kind of annoying, honestly. Lots of clicking around, getting bits and pieces.
I remembered they started calling them Premium Live Events, or PLEs. So, I tried searching specifically for “wwe ple schedule 2023”. That worked a bit better. I started seeing some sites trying to list them out. Some looked more official than others. I spent some time comparing a few lists I found, just to make sure I wasn’t getting bad info. You know how the internet can be.
It took a bit of digging, but I finally pieced together a pretty solid list of the main PLEs that happened or were announced for 2023. It wasn’t super straightforward at first, but I got there.
Here’s the rundown I put together for myself:
I basically tracked them month by month based on what I found across different reliable spots.
- Royal Rumble: Kicked off the year in January, down in San Antonio. Always a big one.
- Elimination Chamber: Then in February, they went up to Montreal. That chamber match is always nuts.
- WrestleMania 39: The big one, early April in Inglewood, California. Two nights again, felt like a huge deal.
- Backlash: Right after Mania, in May, they headed to Puerto Rico. Bad Bunny was involved, pretty cool vibe.
- Night of Champions: Later in May, they were in Saudi Arabia for this one.
- Money in the Bank: Crossed the pond for this one in July, over in London. Loved seeing the UK crowd get a big show.
- SummerSlam: August brought the party to Detroit. Always a major event.
- Payback: Rolled into Pittsburgh in early September.
- Fastlane: October saw them hit Indianapolis.
- Survivor Series: Wrapped up the big shows for the year in November, usually around Thanksgiving, this time in Chicago with WarGames!
Important note: Sometimes they add or change things, like those Saudi Arabia shows sometimes pop up, or dates might shift slightly. But this list covered the main PLEs for 2023 that I could confirm happened or were solidly planned.

So yeah, that was my little adventure trying to pin down the schedule. It’s handy having this list now so I can actually keep track better. Took a bit more effort than I expected just to get a simple schedule, but mission accomplished!
