So, I got really into Monopoly Go for a while, you know? Fun game, but man, keeping track of all the different events ending? It was driving me nuts. You’ve got the main event, the tournament thing on the side, sometimes those treasure hunts or partner events. They all finish at different times.

I kept missing out. Like, I’d be close to a big reward in the tournament, think I had another day, then boom, it’s over. Or I’d forget about the quick wins resetting. Wasted dice, missed rewards, just annoying stuff.
Figuring Out a System
First, I tried just remembering. That lasted about half a day, total fail. Then I thought, okay, phone reminders. Setting alarms for every single event ending? Too much work, and my phone was just buzzing constantly. Didn’t really help me plan ahead, either.
I needed something visual, something I could just glance at. I messed around with a notes app, but it got messy fast. What I really wanted was like, a simple countdown tracker just for the game stuff.
Making My Own “Fortune Countdown Chart”
So, I just grabbed a piece of paper. Yeah, real high-tech, I know. Sometimes simple is best though, right? I drew some columns. Basically:
- Event Name: Like “Main Banner Event” or “Side Tournament”.
- Ends On: I’d write the date and time it was supposed to finish. Super important: I made sure to write it in my local time, not whatever time zone the game shows. Saves confusion.
- Key Goal/Reward: Sometimes I’d jot down the next big prize I was aiming for, like “500 dice” or “Blue Sticker Pack”. Just a quick note.
- Notes: Maybe add if it was a partner event or something special I needed to remember.
I didn’t make it fancy. Pencil and paper, sometimes I used a small whiteboard I had lying around. The point was just getting the key timing info down in one place.

How It Worked Out
Honestly? It actually helped quite a bit. Every time I logged in, I’d take a quick look at the timers in the game and update my little chart if needed. Then, during the day, I could just glance over at my paper and think, “Okay, the tournament ends tonight, better try and push for that next level,” or “Ah, main event has two days left, no rush.”
It wasn’t magic, didn’t guarantee I’d win everything, but it stopped me from forgetting stuff and wasting opportunities. I felt a bit more organized with my dice rolling, knowing what deadlines were coming up. I could plan if I wanted to save dice for the next event or go hard on the current one.
So yeah, that’s my super basic “Monopoly Go Fortune Countdown Chart”. Just a simple paper tracker born out of frustration. Maybe not for everyone, but it worked for me to keep things straight with all those overlapping timers. Gave me a better handle on things.
