Alright folks, lemme tell you about my little wrestling experiment today. It’s all about recreating that Bron Breakker and Cora Jade split storyline… kinda.

First things first, setting the stage. I grabbed two of my nephew’s old wrestling figures. One looked kinda like Bron, all beefy and serious, the other, well, we just decided it was Cora. Didn’t have a perfect match, but you gotta work with what you got, right?
Okay, so I started by having them as a tag team. They were dominating, winning every match (aka, I was just knocking over other toys with them). They were unstoppable, a real power couple. This was all fun and games until… well, you know where this is going.
The crack in the foundation. I made “Cora” lose a match. Intentionally. She was going for a big move, I made her slip (my hand slipped, honestly), and BAM, pinned. “Bron” was pissed! I had him pacing around the toy ring, yelling at her (in my head, of course). He blamed her for the loss, said she was holding him back. The seeds of discord were planted.
Escalation time! Next “match,” they were tagging, but “Bron” refused to tag “Cora” in. He wanted to do everything himself, show her how it’s done. He almost won, but got cocky, missed a spear, and got rolled up for the loss. Now “Cora” was fuming! She shoved him, they argued, and the tension was THICK.
The big betrayal. This is where it gets juicy. I set up a “championship” match for “Bron.” He was about to win, I mean, totally about to win, when… “Cora” grabbed a chair! Whacked him right in the back! He went down, opponent got the pin. “Cora” stood over him, sneering. I even dropped her old “tag team championship belt” in a nearby toy trash can for added effect.

- Chair shot = A small plastic dinosaur
- Trash can = My coffee mug
Aftermath. From that point on, it was war. “Cora” became a total heel, always interfering in “Bron’s” matches, costing him wins. She even formed a new alliance with some of the other “bad guy” toys. “Bron” was out for revenge, but “Cora” was always one step ahead.
Final thoughts? It was kinda dumb, but also kinda fun! It’s interesting to see how easy it is to create drama, even with plastic toys. I mean, the real Bron and Cora storyline was way more complex, but the core elements were there: success, betrayal, and ultimate conflict. Maybe I should write for WWE…
Anyway, that was my afternoon. Time for a beer.
