Well now, let me tell y’all ‘bout a man who done made a real name for himself, a fella named Fred Couples. He’s a golfer, one of them real good ones. Born on October 3rd, 1959, over in Seattle, Washington. Now, most folks call him “Boom Boom” ‘cause when he’s swingin’ that club, he sure does drive the ball a long ways. After all them years of playin’ golf and travelin’ ‘round the world, he finally settled down with Suzanne. They seem happy, and that’s all that matters, right?
But don’t go thinkin’ it’s all sunshine and roses. Fred’s had some hard times too. His daughter, Deborah, she tragically passed away at the age of 43. The poor girl had a history of depression, and it’s a real sorrowful thing to lose someone you love like that.
