Alright, guys, let’s talk about iron smelting in V Rising. I’ve been playing this game a ton, and figuring out the iron situation was a game-changer for me. I’m gonna walk you through how I did it, from zero to crafting those sweet, sweet iron weapons.

Getting Started: The Furnace
First things first, you need a Furnace. If you haven’t built one yet, do that. You can not make the iron with out it.
Finding Iron Ore: The Hunt Begins
Okay, now the real fun starts: finding iron ore. I spent ages wandering around early-game areas, whacking at every rock I saw, only getting stone. Don’t be like me, I learned, you gotta go to specific spots.
- Haunted Iron Mine: This place is, The best spot for iron, is crawling with enemies. Go in ready for a fight, maybe bring a friend or two if you’re not super confident.
- Other Spots: Look, I found some iron ore veins scattered in other mid-game areas. If you find a little you can use it,but,The mine is where it’s at.
Smelting Time: Patience, Young Vampire
Once I had my bag full of iron ore, I rushed back to my castle, all excited to forge some awesome gear. And then…I waited. And waited. Smelting takes time, dudes. I threw the ore into the Furnace and I started doing other stuff around my castle.
Crafting the Goods
Finally, the iron ingots were ready! I went to town. Swords, armor, the whole nine yards.I felt powerful, I was ready for anything, it’s awesome to upgrade the gear and hunt!
That is it folks, good luck with your vampire hunting!
