Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into “Honor of Kings” lately, and let me tell you, figuring out the best heroes can be a real headache. So, I decided to make my own tier list for 2024, and here’s how it went down.
First, I started by just playing a ton of matches. Seriously, I spent hours trying out different heroes in various roles. I wanted to get a real feel for how they performed, not just rely on what other people were saying online.
Then, I began taking notes. After each match, I’d jot down some quick thoughts about the hero I used. Stuff like, “This one’s really strong in the early game,” or “This one struggles against mages.” Just basic observations to help me remember.
I looked at win rates, of course. That gives you some ideas.
I grouped the heroes into rough categories. You know, like “Top Tier,” “Mid Tier,” and “Needs Some Love.” Just to keep things organized, I thought.

- Top TierThis is group that I felt were super powerful and could consistently carry games.
- Good TierThe heroes in this group I found were strong picks, but maybe had a few weaknesses or weren’t quite as dominant as the top tier.
- Meh TierThis guys are okay. I was having trouble, but I thought they worked in certain situations or with specific team comps.
- Low TierI found it difficult to play, and honestly, I just couldn’t find much success with them.
After that initial grouping, I went back and played even more matches. This time, I focused on the heroes I was unsure about. I wanted to see if my first impressions were accurate or if I needed to adjust my rankings.
Finally, I put it all together. I created a simple spreadsheet and listed the heroes in their respective tiers. I also added some notes about their strengths and weaknesses, just to make it more useful.
It’s definitely not perfect, and I’m sure other players will have different opinions. But it’s a good starting point, and I’ll probably keep tweaking it as I play more and as the meta * that is my own “Honor of Kings” tier list for 2024.
