Okay, so I’ve been messing around with different decks in Clash Royale, and I stumbled upon something that’s been pretty fun – the Evo Barbarian deck. Let me walk you through how I got there and what I’ve learned.

Finding the Core
First, I was just trying to figure out a good way to use those Evolved Barbarians. They’re beasts, right? So, I knew I needed a deck built around them. I started by throwing them into a few different setups, just to get a feel for what worked and what didn’t.
Experimenting with Support Troops
Initially, I was pairing them with the usual suspects – things like Wizard, Valkyrie, even tried a bit of Witch. But it felt clunky, you know? Either I didn’t have enough air defense, or I was getting overrun by swarms. It was a mess.
Then, I thought about what really makes those Evo Barbs shine: their rage effect when they get low on health. So, I figured I needed support cards. I added the Heal Spirit, that gave them a bit of extra staying power.
Trial and Error (Lots of It!)
I played a TON of matches. I lost a bunch, I won a few, and slowly started to tweak things. I swapped out cards, changed up my strategies, and even watched a few replays of my own matches to see where I was messing up. It was a grind, but I could feel the deck getting better.
Building Cycle
The deck I tried to build was a little too heavy. I needed a quicker way to get back to my Barbarians.

- So, I added in some cheaper cards, like Skeletons and Goblins.
- That helped me cycle through my deck faster.
- Made it easier to keep the pressure on.
The Final Product (For Now!)
After all that experimenting, here’s what I’ve settled on (for now, at least!):
- Evolved Barbarians
- Hog Rider
- Fireball
- Bats
- Earthquake
- Heal Spirit
- Skeletons
- Goblins
It’s still a work in progress, obviously. I’m sure I’ll tweak it more as I play, but it’s been performing pretty well! My basic strategy? Use Hog Rider+Earthquake to destory the buildings. Use the cheap cards cycle to use the Evloved Barbarians . Fireball clears out support troops, and Heal Spirit and Bats were my counter to air attack. It’s all about that constant * you’re looking for something new to try, give it a shot and see what you think! Don’t be afraid to mess around with it and make it your own.
