Alright, so I wanted to figure out the best way to make some quick Stubs in MLB The Show, and I dove headfirst into the world of quickselling cards. Here’s how it all went down.

Figuring Out Quicksell Values
First, I needed to understand how quicksell values even work. Basically, every card in the game has a set value you can get for instantly selling it. This depends on the card’s overall rating and its tier (like Common, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond).
I started poking around my card collection. You know, the usual spot where all your cards hang out. I organized them by Overall.
- Commons: I noticed these guys weren’t worth much, usually just a handful of Stubs.
- Bronzes: A little better, but still not a goldmine.
- Silvers: Now we’re talking! These started to have some decent quicksell values.
- Golds: I have a few,quicksell value start around 1000 Stubs.
- Diamonds:I have a few,quicksell value start around 5000 Stubs.
My Quicksell Experiment
Okay, so I had a bunch of duplicate cards just lying around. I decided to start with some lower-tier duplicates to test the waters. I selected a few Bronze cards I had multiple copies of.
I went to the card, clicked on it, and found the “Quicksell” option. It showed me exactly how many Stubs I’d get. I clicked it. Boom! Instant Stubs in my account. It was surprisingly satisfying.
Then I moved onto some Silver duplicates. Same process. Select, quicksell, profit! I was starting to see my Stub count rise pretty quickly.

The Results
After about 20-30 minutes of going through my collection and quickselling duplicates, especially those Silvers and a few Golds I really didn’t need, I managed to rake in a good chunk of Stubs. It wasn’t enough to buy a top-tier Diamond player or anything, but it was definitely enough to get some decent packs or fill some gaps in my team.
My main takeaway? Quickselling is a super easy way to get some quick Stubs, especially if you have a lot of duplicate cards just sitting there. Just be sure you’re not selling anything you might actually need!
