Okay, so I’ve been meaning to keep better track of the latest WWE releases, you know, the figures, DVDs, all that good stuff. It’s surprisingly easy to lose track, so I decided to get a bit more organized. Here’s how I went about it.
Getting Started
First, I realized I needed a central place to, like, see everything. I’m a big fan of lists, so I just grabbed a notebook – nothing fancy – and started jotting down potential sources. I figured the official WWE Shop would be a good starting point, right?
Digging for Info
I spent some time browsing the WWE Shop. It’s pretty easy to navigate, they have sections for new releases and all that. I made sure to write down anything that caught my eye – mostly figures, because that’s what I collect the most. Also checked out a couple of other online retailers that sell wrestling merchandise, just to compare and see if I was missing anything.
Organizing My Finds
After that initial browse, my notebook was a bit of a mess. So, I decided to categorize things. I created separate sections for:
- Action Figures: I broke this down further by brand (like Mattel Elite, Ultimate Edition, etc.) because the release schedules can be different.
- DVDs/Blu-rays: Mainly pay-per-view events and documentaries.
- Other Merchandise: This is kind of a catch-all for things like t-shirts, replica belts, and whatever else pops up.
Keeping it Updated
This is the crucial part, right? It’s no good making a list if you don’t keep it fresh. So, I set a reminder on my phone to check the WWE Shop and those other sites, like, once a week. It only takes a few minutes, and I just add anything new to my notebook. Sometimes I also browse wrestling forums and social media – fans are usually pretty quick to share news about upcoming releases.
Also I make my new list by date, for example, If I found a new figure today, I will write down:
- Figure Name- date(2024.*)
Still a Work in Progress
It’s not a perfect system, I’m sure I miss things sometimes. But it’s definitely helped me stay more on top of the new releases, and it’s kind of fun to have this little project going. It makes collecting feel a bit more… I don’t know… intentional, I guess. Instead of just randomly buying stuff, I have a better idea of what’s out there and what I’m actually looking for.
