Okay, so, the other day, I noticed my BMW was doing this weird shaking thing. It wasn’t super obvious at first, but I felt it, you know? So, I started to pay more attention.

First, I checked the tires. I walked around the car, looking at each one. Made sure they all looked properly inflated. I even kicked them a little – old school, I know, but sometimes you can feel if one is low just by that.
Next, I took it for a drive specifically to test the shaking. I wanted to see when it happened. Was it at low speeds? High speeds? Only when I was braking? Turns out, it was mostly when I was going over, say, 50 mph.
I did a quick stop in empty road, and I tried to steer the car during braking to feel the shaking force from the steering wheel.
- At low speeds, almost nothing.
- Braking made it a little worse.
- High speeds, definitely there.
Then, I got home, and after a search from internet. I thought, “Maybe it’s the wheel balancing?” I mean, I hadn’t hit any major potholes recently, but you never know.
Finally, because I am not familiar with the car repairment. I decided to take the car to the repair shop. Let them use the professional tools to check my car.

It turned out that one of my wheel hub was broken. And it needs to replace a new one.
