Alright, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about “MLB The Show” and whether or not it’s on PC. I’m a huge baseball fan, so, naturally, I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I decided to dive in and, well, here’s how it went.
First, I fired up my trusty gaming rig, ready to download and get playing. I did some quick searching, and, well, things didn’t look good initially.
My Initial Disappointment
I quickly found out that MLB The Show 24 isn’t actually available on PC. Yep, you read that right. No PC version this year. Total bummer, I know. My initial excitement took a nosedive. I was ready to experience that baseball magic on my PC, but it wasn’t meant to be.
Exploring Other Options
So, what’s a gamer to do? I wasn’t ready to give up completely. I kept digging and found out the game is available on a bunch of other platforms:
- PlayStation 5
- PlayStation 4
- Xbox Series XS
- Xbox One
- Nintendo Switch
Okay, not ideal for me and my PC setup. I don’t own any of those consoles at the moment,So I’m kinda stuck. I was hoping to be able to play it.
The Verdict (For Now)
So, for now, I’m putting “MLB The Show” on the back burner. Maybe someday they’ll bring it to PC, and I’ll be ready. Until then, I’ll have to stick to my other games or start saving up for a console, I guess. It’s a shame, really. I was geared up to knock some virtual homers, but for the moment my field of dreams must be in the another games.
