Okay, so I had this jacket, a pretty nice one, but the buttons were just…blah. Plain, boring, you know? I figured, why not spice things up a bit? I’d seen some cool HUGO BOSS buttons online and thought, “Yeah, those would look sharp.”

Finding the Right Buttons
First, I needed to find the buttons. I looked on a few websites, found some that looked like a good fit – same size, similar style, but with that HUGO BOSS logo.
The Removal Process
Next up, getting the old buttons off. I grabbed my little sewing kit – you know, the one with the tiny scissors and a bunch of needles I never use. I carefully snipped the threads holding the old buttons on. Took my time, didn’t want to snag the fabric.
Sewing on the New Buttons
- I Started to thread the needle, I used a color that matched the jacket lining. Double-threaded it for extra strength.
- Position the Button: I lined up the new HUGO BOSS button where the old one had been.
- Sew it through up and down several times. I made sure it was snug, but not so tight that it puckered the fabric.
- Tie it off. I did a couple of knots on the inside of the jacket to secure the thread, then snipped off the excess.
Repeated this process for all the buttons – front, cuffs, the whole deal.
The Finished Product
And…done! Seriously, it made a huge difference. The jacket looks way more expensive and stylish now. It’s like a little upgrade, a subtle detail that makes the whole thing pop. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out – a simple change, but a big impact. All for changing the buttons on a jacket!
