Okay, so I’ve been wanting to play “MLB The Show” on my PC for a while now. I’m a huge baseball fan, and while I love my console, sometimes I just want the convenience of playing on my computer. Here is my journey on it.

Figuring Out How to Play
First things is searched on Google. Turns out, “MLB The Show” is primarily a PlayStation and Xbox thing and switch. So I knew it won’t be that easy.
Cloud Gaming to the Rescue?
So I started checking for how I can play it on PC. Found out about cloud gaming service. It’s like streaming a game instead of installing it. I thought, “This might be it!”
Did some digging and there are a few options. I tried some of them to see if it works and checking if the game is availble.
Setting Things Up
- Signing Up: I registered on their website.
- Picking a Plan: I needed a plan that would let me stream games. I went with their basic.
- Installed the App: Downloaded and installed it on my PC. Pretty straightforward.
Game Time (Almost!)
Once everything was set up, I launched the app, found “MLB The Show,” and hit play. There was a bit of a wait, which I guess is normal for cloud gaming. You’re basically in a queue to use their hardware.
Playing the Game
Finally, the game started! It was streaming, and the graphics looked pretty good, similar to my console. But here’s the thing, it’s all about your internet connection. Mine is pretty good, but it’s not perfect. I had some little interruptions, but overall it was playable.

My Thoughts
It is cool that I can play “MLB The Show” on my PC now. It’s not perfect. You’re at the mercy of your internet, and the cloud gaming service’s wait times. But for me, It is a great option to play the game.
If you are thinking of doing something similar, make sure that you have a stable internet connection!
