Okay, so I was watching the Alabama game the other night, and I was totally confused about why that last touchdown didn’t count. I mean, it looked good to me! So, I decided to dig in and figure out what the heck happened. Here’s my journey:

First, I rewound the play like a million times. I wanted to see it from every possible angle. My eyes were glued to the screen, trying to catch any tiny detail I might have missed live.
Then, I hit up the internet. I started with some basic searches, you know, like “Alabama touchdown not count” and “Alabama vs. [Opponent’s Name] review”. I figured there had to be some immediate explanations out there.
The Search Begins
- I scrolled through a bunch of game recaps and articles, but most of them just mentioned the overturned touchdown without really explaining why. Frustrating!
- Next, I headed to some online forums and fan discussions. People were definitely talking about it, but there were a lot of different opinions and arguments going on. It was hard to sort through the noise.
- Some people were saying to look at twitter,so I do not have that APP.
I even tried to find some official rule explanations, but those things are written in some kind of ancient code, I swear. It was tough to make sense of it all.
Finally, after I read a bunch of stuff, and saw that the play call, I started to see people get upset about it, and realized that the ruling, may be a bad call, but I just think it’s bad about the play, not the ruling.
It took a bit of work, but hey, that’s part of the fun of being a super fan, right? Now I can confidently say that I watched, searched, and read and know about the play.
