Alright, so I wanted to mess around with the waveplate regen rate in Wuthering Waves, you know, see if I could tweak it a bit. Figured it couldn’t be that hard, right? Famous last words.

First, I poked around in the game files, looking for anything that seemed related to waveplates or regeneration. I spent a good hour just digging through folders. Lots of stuff in there, kinda overwhelming, honestly.
My Fumbling Attempts
- Initial Search: I started by looking for configuration files. You know, those files ending in “.ini” or “.cfg”. Thought maybe there’d be a simple setting I could just change. No luck.
- Deeper Dive: Then I started looking at the actual game data files. These were way more complicated, all sorts of weird formats and compressed stuff. I tried opening some of them with a text editor, but it was just gibberish.
- Data files research:I try to research the data files structure and find any useful information.I found noting related data about it.
- Giving Up (For Now): So, yeah, I hit a wall. The game files are way more complex than I thought. I need to find more to start a real research.
I did manage after some time and test find the setting,I can now enjoy a much faster waveplate regen rate! It makes exploring and grinding so much smoother.
