Okay, so I’ve been diving into the Summer League, and I gotta say, the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Dallas Mavericks game caught my eye. I wanted to figure out who’s likely to win, and more importantly, if there’s any betting value.
First, I started looking at recent performances. I checked out how both teams have been doing in their past few games. You know, who’s hot, who’s not, stuff like that. It is kind of the basic of the basic things.
Then, I dug into the rosters. Who’s playing? Are there any key players missing? Any rookies looking to prove themselves? Those kind of things can have a big impact on that.
I also tried to find some head-to-head stats. Have these teams played each other recently? If so, who won, and by how much? It is not always tell you everything, but it’s a good starting point.
I went looking for expert opinions, too. I read some previews and predictions from so-called basketball gurus, just to get a feel for the general consensus.
Based on what I found. One prediction I saw suggested Memphis at -5 on the spread. It sounds like people are feeling pretty confident about Memphis covering that spread.
After all my “research”, I feel like Memphis is the stronger team in this * looked good, and the -5 spread seems reasonable. I did place a small bet on Memphis -5.
