Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little project from today: creating a JMU Duke football chart. Nothing fancy, just something I wanted to visualize for myself.

First, I grabbed a pen and a piece of paper. Yeah, I’m old school like that sometimes. I started by sketching out a basic table. You know, rows and columns. I wanted to keep it simple, so I decided on just a few key things to track.
My Simple Chart Setup
- Column 1: The Opponent. Gotta know who the Dukes are playing, right?
- Column 2: The Date. So, I can keep tabs on when the game’s happening.
- Column 3: Home or Away. Super helpful for planning my weekends!
- Column 4: Win or Loss. The most important part, obviously.
- Column 5: Score. I am tracking the score.
After that, I pulled up the JMU football schedule online. It’s * it was, all the info I needed. I started filling in my little chart, game by game. Opponent, date, location – all went into their respective columns.
As the season goes on, I’ll keep updating this chart. I’ll add the “W” or “L” and the final score after each game. It’s a really straightforward way for me to keep track of how the Dukes are doing, and I can easily do it myself.
It might sound a bit silly, making a physical chart when there are tons of websites and apps out there with all this information. I get it. But there’s something satisfying about doing it myself, physically writing it down. It’s like my own little personal record of the season.
Finally, I made it.I could see the whole match of the season, and it is easy for me to record the result.
