Alright, so I stumbled upon this “Joe Rogan drawings” thing and figured, why not give it a shot? I’m no artist, but hey, it sounded like a fun little experiment. So, here’s how it went down.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed a picture of Joe Rogan. I just googled “Joe Rogan” and picked a photo where he’s got that classic, thoughtful look on his face. You know the one.
The Sketching Begins
I grabbed a regular old pencil and a piece of paper. I mean, no fancy art supplies here, just the basics.I started by lightly sketching the outline of his head and shoulders.I focus on head shape, the bald head is pretty iconic, so I wanted to get that right.
The Struggle is Real
- The eyes… man, eyes are tough! I kept erasing and redrawing them. I was struggling for a good while.
- His beard was another challenge. I tried to get the texture right, but it ended up looking more like a scribble.
- I shaded in the darker areas, like under his chin and around his eyes, to give it some depth.
Adding (Trying to Add) Detail
It looked okay.I added some wrinkles around his eyes and forehead – gotta show he’s a man of wisdom, right? I even attempted to draw in some of those little details, like the stubble on his head.
The Final Product (Sort Of)
Okay, so it’s not going to win any awards. But, you can kinda tell it’s supposed to be Joe Rogan, right? I showed it to my friend, and she said “Oh is it joe?” so, I guess that’s a win? Maybe?
My Takeaway
Drawing is hard! But, it was also kinda relaxing. I might even try this again sometime. Maybe next time I’ll try a different pose, or maybe even break out the colored pencils. Who knows?
