Alright, so today I wanted to mess around with that “Kenny Powers quote” thing. I’d seen it floating around online and, honestly, it just sounded like something fun to try and recreate. No big plan, just pure, unadulterated messing around.
Getting Started
First, I needed the actual quote. That was easy enough – a quick search and I had it. I decided to start simple. Just get the text displayed on the screen.
I fired up my code editor, nothing fancy, just the basic setup. Created a new file, saved it, and got to work.
I decided to print it to screen. I’ve put some texts into the paragraph.
Putting It Together
It works! The plain text, it looked kinda…blah. So, I thought, “Let’s make this a bit more, you know, Kenny Powers.”
- Bold some of the words, you know, the important stuff. The stuff Kenny would yell.
- Play with the font sizes. Make some parts bigger, some smaller. Give it some, dynamic to it.
The Final Touches
After messing around with it, I think I finally got something that kinda captures that Kenny Powers energy. It’s not perfect, and I’m sure a real designer could do way better, but for a quick, fun little project, I’m happy with it.
I saved my progress. I have a file for the works, and I’m ready to go for the next step.
This whole thing, from start to finish, took me less than a couple of hour. Easy time!
