Okay, so I’ve been messing around with MLB The Show, and I wanted to share this thing I figured out about getting to 9 innings super quick. It’s not rocket science, but it definitely saved me some time.

I started by, you know, just playing the game normally. But I realized those full 9-inning games can take a while, especially if I’m just trying to grind for something specific or test out a new player.
My Little Experiment
So, I started poking around in the settings. There’s gotta be a way to shorten the games, right? And there is! You can adjust all sorts of stuff.
- First thing I did was go into the settings, and looked for Gameplay options. It took me some time to find.
- Then played around with it, I could modify the “innings” parameter to change the total game round.
- Finally completed the game round setting, I successfully made the game duration shorter!
I am so happy with it since I don’t need to spend a long time playing a full match, and save much more time!
