Well now, I heard something real shocking the other day, and I thought I’d better share it with y’all. Samantha Irvin, the gal we all knew as the voice of WWE, up and left! Yep, she ain’t gonna be announcing no more for them wrestling folks. Can you believe it? Now, I ain’t the one to gossip, but I reckon it’s worth talkin’ about. You see, this woman, who’s been announcing for WWE for a good spell, decided that it just wasn’t for her anymore. Her reason? She don’t like it! That’s right, she said it plain and simple – “I don’t like announcing,” and she wasn’t jokin’ either. It turns out it was never her big dream to be on the mic in front of all those folks, no sir. It was just a way to get her foot in the door.
Now, don’t go thinkin’ she didn’t do a good job. She did a real fine job, makin’ them shows sound so lively and exciting, you couldn’t help but pay attention when she was speakin’. I mean, she was the voice for WWE’s NXT, SmackDown, and even Raw for a while there. They made her the ring announcer on SmackDown first back in January 2022. You could tell folks took a shine to her – they loved her energy, and she sure had the talent for it. She wasn’t just talkin’ into a mic, she was making folks feel something. But then, February 2023 came, and the big move happened. She moved on up to announce for WWE Raw on the USA Network. Big deal, right? People were cheerin’ for her left and right.
But, oh no, she had other plans. See, while she was out there announcin’, Samantha was always thinkin’ ‘bout somethin’ else. Y’all probably didn’t know this, but she’s got a real strong love for music. She’s a singer, and that’s where her heart’s at. I reckon you can’t hold back on your dreams for too long, can ya? You gotta follow where your heart leads ya, and for her, it ain’t in the wrestling ring announcer’s booth no more.
So what happened to Samantha Irvin?
Well, after all that time workin’ in WWE, she finally made up her mind to move on. She explained it to her fans on Instagram, tellin’ ‘em that she never really set out to be an announcer in the first place. It was all just a way to get in and make a name for herself. And once she got there, she found out that her true love was music, and that’s what she wanted to focus on now.
Now, I gotta say, I respect her for followin’ her heart. It ain’t always easy to leave a big ol’ job like that, especially when you’ve been doin’ so well at it. But sometimes, you just gotta go after what makes ya happy, don’t you? She’s got a real good voice, too, I hear. Maybe we’ll be hearin’ her singin’ in the future instead of announcin’ all them wrestlin’ matches. I reckon that’s what she’ll be doin’ now – singing and followin’ her music career wherever it leads her.
What will WWE do without her?
Well, I’m sure WWE will be just fine without her. They got a whole bunch of announcers and wrestlers, and they always seem to find someone to step in when needed. But folks are gonna miss her, I’m sure of it. She was a real bright spot in the WWE world, and no doubt, her energy brought somethin’ special to the table. I guess it’s just one of those things where people move on and new folks come in, and life keeps rollin’ along.
As for Samantha, I wish her all the best. I know she’s gonna go far with her music. She’s got that passion, and when you got that, you can’t help but succeed. So, while we might not be hearin’ her call out the names of wrestlers anymore, maybe we’ll get to hear her sing someday soon, and that’ll be somethin’ worth waitin’ for.
So, that’s the story, folks. Samantha Irvin’s left WWE, and it’s all ‘cause she’s followin’ her dreams. She don’t need to be announcin’ them wrestlin’ matches no more. Who knows where she’ll go from here? But wherever it is, I’m sure she’s gonna shine just as bright as she did in WWE. Let’s all just hope she sings somethin’ for us soon, don’t ya think?
