Okay, so I wanted to keep better track of Keenan Allen’s performance this season, specifically for my fantasy team. I decided to create a simple game log for 2023. Nothing fancy, just something to easily visualize his stats week by week.

First, I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. Yeah, I’m old school sometimes. I could have used a spreadsheet, but I like the tactile feel of writing things down. I find that helpful.
I divided the paper into columns. These were pretty basic:
- Week
- Opponent
- Receptions
- Receiving Yards
- Touchdowns
- Targets I thought tracking targets would be interesting.
Then,I started filling it in. I went week by week, and find the stats.
It was actually kind of satisfying, seeing all the numbers lined * gave me a much clearer picture of Allen’s performance throughout the season.
After I had entered all the available data, I took a step back to look at the whole thing. Seeing the ebb and flow of his production was pretty cool. Some weeks were huge, others less so, but it was all there in front of me.

Now, I can just look at this paper anytime I want a quick update on Allen. I can also start planning for next season. Simple, but it works!
