Okay, so I saw this thing online about Tiger Woods and his caddie for the US Open, and I got curious. I mean, who’s carrying the bag for the GOAT, right?
Diving into the Caddie Shuffle
First, I started digging around to see who’s been caddying for Tiger lately. Turns out, it’s been a bit of a revolving door. But for the 2024 Genesis Invitational, I found out it was this guy Lance Bennett.
- Checked some golf news sites.
- Read a couple of articles about Tiger’s recent tournaments.
Who is Lance Bennett?
So, this Lance Bennett, he’s not just some random dude. Apparently, he’s a pretty big deal in the caddie world. The stuff I found said he’s been doing this for over 20 years!
I went down a bit of a rabbit hole, looking up some of the other players Bennett has worked with. Turns out, he’s caddied for some top-ranked PGA Tour players. I have to find the materials and organize them. The guy’s got a serious resume!
Putting it All Together
So, basically, what I figured out is that while it might not always be the same person, Tiger’s got some experienced pros on his bag. For the Genesis Invitational, at least, it was Lance Bennett, a veteran caddie with a solid track record. I finished!
