Alright folks, lemme tell you about my recent adventure sprucing up the Changli. You know, the little electric car that’s kinda famous for being, well, cheap. I decided it needed a bit of an upgrade, starting with the floor mats.

The Hunt Begins
- First thing I did was hit up the usual online marketplaces. I was looking for something durable, easy to clean, and, let’s be honest, not too expensive.
- Scrolled through tons of options, from generic rubber mats to fancy custom-fit ones.
- Finally settled on a set of universal fit PVC mats that looked like they could handle some wear and tear. Plus, they were a steal!
The Installation
- Got the mats delivered, and the first thing I noticed was the size. They were way too big!
- No problem, I thought. Grabbed my trusty utility knife and started trimming.
- This took a while, measuring and cutting, then test fitting, then more trimming.
- Pro tip: use a sharp blade and take your time. You don’t want to end up with jagged edges.
The Fit and Finish
- After a lot of fiddling, I finally got the mats to fit reasonably well. They weren’t perfect, but they were a huge improvement over the bare floor.
- The PVC material feels pretty tough, and I think they’ll be easy to hose down when they get dirty. Which, knowing me, will be soon.
- I also added some small strips of Velcro to the back of the mats to keep them from sliding around. Works like a charm!
The Verdict
All in all, I’m happy with how the floor mat upgrade turned out. It wasn’t exactly a professional job, but it was a fun little project that made a big difference in the Changli’s interior. Plus, it didn’t break the bank.
